SAVE SONG: updates the current song code. SAVE AS NEW: creates a separate copy with a new code. NEW SONG: asks whether to save before starting fresh.
PLAY SONG: plays the song from the currently selected pattern. Shortcut: SPACE. SPACE also stops playback when the song is already playing.
PLAY PATTERN: loops the visible pattern. Shortcut: P.
Cells: click adds/selects/previews. Right click clears. Track editor below controls volume, pan, reverb, mute, BPM-aware delay, drum pitch, note settings and FX chord/sample settings.
ROI FX LIBRARY: add WAV/MP3 files to roitracker-assets/roi-effects/roi-voices/, drums/, basses/ or synths/. FX tracks can also use cutoff, resonance and sample trim.
Tracks: new songs start empty. Use the + row inside the tracker to add ROI FX, bass, synth, bleep or drum lanes. Rename or remove the selected track from the track editor.
Notes: range C1-B5. Bass can go down to C1.
DRUM PITCH: KICK, SNARE and HAT cells can be pitched -8 to +8 semitones. The next drum placement remembers the last pitch used on that drum lane.
CHORD EDITOR: ROI FX samples are treated as C3. Select notes from C2-B4 to make a single pitch or chord for that track.
GENERATE MULTIROI SONG: makes a structured song with one scale, chord progression, groove, bass logic and melody motif.
MOD: exports a ROITRACKER module file, not a ProTracker-compatible .MOD.
